The Christmas season reminds us of the longing for home—a place where we belong, are loved, and find peace.
But sometimes, just like Mary and Joseph in Luke 2:1-7, the journey to “home” isn’t easy.
Yet, even in unexpected places and imperfect circumstances, God creates a space for us to belong.
Christmas is here and it is time to go “Home for Christmas.”
Today we will see the importance of home and how to help create that safe space for others.

Believe is our Christmas celebration at The Church @ 434. We are understanding that when the followers of Jesus say they “believe” it means something very different than what someone who does not yet follow Jesus means when they say it. But when we look at the Christmas celebration through the lens of believing – we realize we have so much more to be thankful for. One of the amazing things about believing is that is not always convenient and we can’t always understand what is really happening around us… but there are some valuable lessons we can discover from the very first Christmas that can change our lives today.

So much to do, so little time. With Christmas right around the corner, there seems to be more to do than you have time to accomplish. So, most people will put together their “To-Do List” because we don’t want to miss anything important. Believe it or not, there was a to-do list the very first Christmas and as we explore it, we find out some things we need to remember.
