We are looking how to make a difference in the world we live in. Our purpose is not just to do good, but to do Godly good… if we do, then we will be making a dent in the universe. One of the hardest things to do is when we make the decision to come out of hiding and begin actively seeking how to connect, impact, bless, and nudge others toward Jesus. But if we are going to make a dent, we have to come face to face with the way we see things and then see them differently than others.
Our HOLD ON series continues with a very special time of Worship. This worship experience is built around the Lord’s Supper. That dinner conversation, between Jesus and His disciples, gives us some powerful reminders of how much we are loved, what that love means, and how it changes us. We will get a chance to go to the table and experience it in 3-D and when we are done, we walk away with hope for the future that we can hold on to.
NOTE: You can participate in the Lord’s Supper on-line. Take a few moments and put together the elements you need. Pastor Jeff will let you know what to do with them at the right time.
To get us started, we are going to give you 3 things… 3 truths… 3 realities that will jam joy into your Christmas. It is time to Jam – Jingle Jam!
We have been dig, dig, digging in a mine of Scripture, uncovering gems in one of the most famous passages in all of the Bible. As we have been doing that, we have been meeting some of the dwarfs that didn’t make the cut in the Walt Disney Classic – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. These dwarfs at work in the mine have helped us dig up some of the most amazing reminders of how we are supposed to love. The series concludes with some more discoveries designed to add depth to your journey of faith.
We Dig-Dig-Dig… together we are mining through one of the richest passages of Scripture ever; making discoveries about love! We found some dwarfs that didn’t make the cut in the fabulous film, yet they are reminding us of things that we need to know.
Today we find out how important it is to love as Jesus loved us and how different it really is from the way the world likes to love. Get ready, it is time to dig and then get to work.
