Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.(Mark 12:30)

Last week we began our series "Tales to Astonish" by suggesting that we need to learn to Love to the 4th Power. As we explored the passage above and the verses surrounding it we discovered that the since Jesus said this was the greatest of all the commandments, perhaps we ought to spend a little more time trying to understand and do what He said to do. The new heart He gives us when we choose to follow Him makes us a part of the Tribe of the Transplanted and together we are going to discover some astonishing things that begin to happen when we love like He commands. Today we dig a little deeper into what it means to love God with all of your heart and we go into the book of Genesis to make those discoveries. It is a tale to astonish and it will change you and others forever!

Tales to Astonish!
Mark 12:30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."

Jesus instructs us, no actually He commands us to love God with our hearts, soul, mind, and strength. We have called this love to the 4th power. It only makes sense that if Jesus took the time to break it down and say it this clearly that we ought to spend a great deal of time and energy trying to do understand and be obedient to what He told us to do.

Up to his point we have looked at our need to get Great and the Great Command (Mark 12:30) and discovered The Compassion Reaction as we have wrestled with what it means to love God with all of our hearts. Today we begin to think about what it means to love God with all of our soul.

Loving God with all of our mind.
Jesus told us we needed to love this way. Sometimes we simply say we love God. Yet, Jesus took the time to break down just how we need to really love Him.

You remember what He said, love Him with your heart, your soul, your mind, and your strength.
Four very clearly defined ways we are to love God. In this celebration worship experience we look at what means to love Him with all of our mind.

It is so easy in the crazy world we live in to throw up our hands, whine about how tough it is, and mope over how difficult and depressing life can be. Not only is that easy to do but you can usually find others who will join you in your misery...well, because after all...misery loves miserable company.

But in the middle of the mess around you is it possible to be an agent of change? Is it possible that you might be a person who is known as one who builds things up instead of tearing them down? Does the call of Christ call us to be constructive or destructive in the crazy world we live in?

When others see you do they C U Constructive?

The call to follow Jesus gives us some resources that we are to use to build the kingdom around us. His Love and His Gifts are given freely to us and they allow us to build. Get ready to discover how God wants to use you to build His kingdom in an out of control world.

Here we are again for another course at Crazy University!

This is the lifelong learning school where we are discovering ways to navigate the sometimes and often craziness of the world we live in. So far we have looked at how we stay CALM and CONSTRUCTIVE in the midst of the craziness. Today we examine a new topic...we ask if people C U Challenged?
Now it is true that life can be challenging...no doubt about it. But that is not what we are talking about. We are asking if you approach life as a challenge, are you tackling the challenge of living the life that God has created you to live in ways that honor Him, when people look at you as you live do they CU Challenged?
In the same way we face life in calm and constructive ways, we can also face life as a challenge and let that challenge bring out the best in us.
To get there and to face the challenge we must be diligent. When you are diligent you are : Thorough, attentive, industrious, persistent, and tireless. So this week we discover how to be all of those things as we tackle the amazing challenge of living life to the fullest for the Savior!

Most people spend the bulk of their lives off center
We are focused on what we don't have...and miss out on what we do have.
We allow our circumstances to define us and we end up mad, mean, and missing the joy that could be found in what we have around us.
