The Mystery of Cades Cove

You may have heard of Cades Cove. It is nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. In years past it had been occupied by Native Americans. Ken and Cheri LaValley have vacationed there and on a recent trip went out looking for an old cemetery. Actually it is a burial ground that dates back into the 1800s. It was there that this picture was taken.

Let's pick up the story at this point with Ken describing what happened.

"At the time the photo was taken, Cheri and I were looking for an old cemetery that has a section where some of the inhabitants of the town are buried. Dates go back to the 1800's. I saw the doe in the trees and took one photograph. We did not discover the image in the background until we got back to our cabin that night and brought it up on the television to view."

What exactly did Ken catch in the picture?
Well, it could be a number of things. The picture has been looked at by a variety of people and it has not been tampered with. Ken was not out looking to capture a mystery image in his picture. He was just taking a picture of a doe. So what is in the picture?

Some things are extremely hard to explain and can't always been explained away easily. However...and this is important. For those who follow Jesus there is nothing to be afraid of. Seriously, there are things that are hard to explain that get a little bit spooky, but you don't need to be afraid.

The Haunted Gymnasium

On the www.facethefearhouse.com website you may have watched an episode of The Fear Hunters where they spent a night in an old haunted gymnasium in Sanford, Florida. If you have watched the video you saw it was a fun-filled eventful evening...but not a lot of scary things happened.

After the investigation concluded, the video was edited, and time went by it was then that this picture, snapped during the night was discovered.

You will notice the band of silver light that seems to be dancing across the wall, door, and covers a very random pattern. Some people looked at the picture and came up with a variety of thoughts. Some said it was a reflection of the camera flash off the ceiling. Notice the silver ceiling. Others heard this and said the pattern does not lend itself to that time of light displacement.

Some went on to say that some kind of energy was captured on film. Where that energy came from they did not say. Someone else conclude that "we sure did get something in the picture."

As we stated above, some things are hard to explain...but often, in cases like this picture, it is easy to conclude whatever you bring to the viewing of it. For example, those that were sure the gym was haunted wanted to conclude this was paranormal. Those that were sure there was no way it was haunted said it was a reflection. The point...simple...make sure you know what filter you are processing life through.

The Fear Hunters want to make sure you are looking at life through the eyes of Jesus.
