From touchandchange.com Ask Jeff What about the historical sources Dan Brown quotes…they wouldn’t all be involved in perpetuating a lie…would they?
Brown confidently suggest that there are scores of historical resources to prove his facts…he mentions four…
You would presume these would be the best of the best of the best
So lets take a look at their background and see if they are indeed historians
Holy Blood, Holy Grail (Baigent, Leigh, and Lincoln)
Baigent-Undergraduate degree in psychology and recently began pursuing a degree in Mysticism and Religious Experience
Leigh-Is primarily a novelist and short story writer
Lincoln-A BBC television personality and screenwriter
The Woman with the Alabaster Jar (Margaret Starbird) The Goddess in the Gospels (Margaret Starbird)
Starbird has a degree in comparative literature and German
Picknett and Prince are actually professional conspiracy theorists who spend most of their time writing on the occult, paranormal activity and UFOs. They are Ghostbusters…
Also remember that these books draw upon information that is a part of the Priory of Sion. We have seen on this website that the Priory of Sion and the history that it suggests is nothing but a hoax. The creator of the hoax admitted that. Still, in spite of that, the theories that were suggested become the basis for some of the history in these works...
The point is that none of them are credible historians by any stretch of the imagination!
