Tales to Astonish!
Mark 12:30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."
Jesus instructs us, no actually He commands us to love God with our hearts, soul, mind, and strength. We have called this love to the 4th power. It only makes sense that if Jesus took the time to break it down and say it this clearly that we ought to spend a great deal of time and energy trying to do understand and be obedient to what He told us to do.
Up to his point we have looked at our need to get Great and the Great Command (Mark 12:30) and discovered The Compassion Reaction as we have wrestled with what it means to love God with all of our hearts. Today we begin to think about what it means to love God with all of our soul.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.(Mark 12:30)
Last week we began our series "Tales to Astonish" by suggesting that we need to learn to Love to the 4th Power. As we explored the passage above and the verses surrounding it we discovered that the since Jesus said this was the greatest of all the commandments, perhaps we ought to spend a little more time trying to understand and do what He said to do. The new heart He gives us when we choose to follow Him makes us a part of the Tribe of the Transplanted and together we are going to discover some astonishing things that begin to happen when we love like He commands. Today we dig a little deeper into what it means to love God with all of your heart and we go into the book of Genesis to make those discoveries. It is a tale to astonish and it will change you and others forever!
