Secret Santa I'm Dreaming of Christmas!
This is the information that takes you beyond the information you heard in the celebration worship experience entitled; An Unbelievable Dream Becomes Believable.
The information in this article and the attached weblinks will let you explore the story behind the legacy of the Secret Santa.
The Story of Secret Santa . . . Larry Dean Stewart
Larry Dean Stewart 1948 – 2007 was the creator and original Secret Santa. Through his personal example over a twenty year period, he demonstrated and defined the role and mission of Secret Santa. “Secret Santa's” random acts of kindness over the years had an impact on people throughout the world who either were beneficiaries or who read in media reports his random acts of kindness and giving; especially three months before his death in January 2007 when his personal identity was made public. The Society of Secret Santas builds upon the legacy of Larry Dean Stewart.
The Spirit of Secret Santa is Alive and Growing
Today, Larry Dean Stewart's loyal Elves and the Secret Santas he trained are building upon the foundation he laid.
A Secret Santa and Elves are very busy this Christmas. They are going coast to coast in selected cities and towns to spread hope this Chirstmas, giving one hundred dollar bills to the needy. This year in his honor each one hundred dollar bill will bear the name Larry Stewart Secret Santa. They will also be training those who have come forward to be a Secret Santa Leader in their community.
Society of Secret Santas
Today the things that were started by Larry Dean Stewart live on. His ability to give and brighten the lives of others has been picked up and embraced by others who make Christmas special for those who need help. The Society of Secret Santas is an anonymous group of leaders throughout the world, performing random acts of kindness to those less fortunate.
