RISK Unpacked!
The call to "follow Jesus" is a call to adventure and excitement. It involves risk.
In this celebration worship experience you discover one of the most unusual passages in all of the Bible and how it applies to our life and journey of faith.
If we are going to fulfill the destiny God created us for then we are going to have to learn how "risk" is a part of that journey. In this worship event we begin to unpack some of the concepts that all risk takers must know.

An Odd Way to Look at Odds
Have you ever wondered how God views the events and circumstances of your life?

Anchors and Ax Heads Always Sink... Don't They?!?
The famous question asked on late night television is "Will It Float?"
If someone were to ask you, "Will the head of an ax float?" The answer you will probably give is "NO!"
In most cases you would be correct. However in the passage that serves as the backdrop for this celebration worship experience you have a chance to find out that at times an ax head will float and there are some life lessons we can discover about defying the odds from it.

The call of Jesus is to follow and we all have good intentions. Sadly many people get derailed before they ever really get started because of the circumstances and situations around them.
On top of that we complicate our lives even more by not even praying about those situations that way we should and before we know it...our problems have become bigger than God, we live lives that are weak and tired, and we never take the risk of becoming who He has called us to be.
