The High Sea Adventure Continues in...

The Compass Chronicles

This is a 2 week series that follows up the Worship Event, Living Legacy.  During the series we will look closer at the concepts that were introduced during Living Legacy.

The Compass Chronicles (Week 1): Learning to Read the Compass
Most of us as we sail through life are looking for direction. The problem we all have is trying to find it. Whether we want to admit it or not, we all tend to allow our own hearts to determine what direction we follow...the end result for most is not too good.

However, what if there were a compass that we could follow that would always keep us on course, living lives that were determined, full of hope, and brimming with meaning? That would be a life worth living...

In this follow up to Living Legacy, we continue our "Pirate" adventure by thinking about the compass of Jack Sparrow always pointing to what he desired the most. We ask the question, what do you desire the most? And then we take some time to learn some lessons that help us to make sure our compass is pointing the right way...and of course, learning to follow the direction the needle is pointing!

Our mini-series concludes as we look at ways to make sure that our compass is alwasy pointing in a direction that God desires.

As our hearts are transformed, what we desire most, begin...slowly and surely...to become the things that God desires as well.

Proverbs serves as the backdrop as the compass begins to spin.
