Transformation is the process that takes place in the lives of those who call themselves "followers" of Jesus Christ. This transformation is also what allows those "followers" to live the life they long to live and were created to live.

Sadly, many people choose not to experience this thing called abundant life. If you are ready for more out of life then this is the course you must hear.

It is time to end the doubts and stand against the wind.

Week 1 - 04/02/06 - Revolution not a reformation

Many people wrongly believe that being a Christian involves God "tweaking" certain areas of your life and making you a bit better. That of course is not what the Bible teaches. What really happens is that your heart changes and an amazing process of transformation makes you different, radically different from the inside out.

In this session we discover real meaning in life, how to really live, and why we get so frustrated because the longing in our spirits for more just never happens.

Week 2 - 04/09/06 - Orientation

The more self oriented you are the more controlling you are...and that is a problem spiritually. In this brief session we do a quick review of the previous session and then add a few more thoughts about the process of transformation.

If you are going to stand against the wind then you must have the right orientation. The good news...and it good news...you can't escape who you are...but you can become someone new.

Week 3 - 04/16/06 - Gratitude is the the Attitude

The way you view life becomes an attitude of the heart. The way we live, relate, and interact in the world arounds us reveals many things about the attitude of our hearts. But beyond that, on a much more important and deeper level we find that spiritually our hearts must have the right attitude.

How do you live life?

Also as an added feature of this study we examine a few thoughts about untapped potential and how calling unused potential a tragedy isn't really good enough. Jesus says something far more bothersome in His description of untapped potential. For those that long for an untamed faith, then this is a powerful moment in the session.

Week 4 - 04/23/06 - Moving Beyond Potential

People are loaded with potential. This portion of our study allows us to make the potential potent and begin to discover this full and abundant life that we were created to live. Mediocrity is a thing of the past for those who choose to really follow Jesus and "live!"

Week 5 - 04/30/06 - Integrity is a main Ingredient

Integrity is an ingredient that is essential for those "followers" of Jesus who must be willing to stand against the wind. Sometimes real integrity is lost in the culture of the day..and still it is essential in order to find the courage to be the person and live the life that we have always longed for. Week 7 - 05/14/06 - Stick With It!

Change and transformation have been the subject we have been exploring in our ongoing study. In this session we introduce the first "how to" in this tranformation process. It is simply learing to "stick with it!"

In these few moments recorded live at CCC get ready to come face to face with the obstacles and where we go wrong in our ability to stick with things spiritually. If we can learn these lessons then we have a better chance of staying on track. Get ready to learn and grow...you might even change!

Week 8 - 05/21/06 - The Heart of a Warrior

The next installment of our series is another "how to" make it happen session. In this session Jeff Dixon suggest that we have to develop the "heart of a warrior" Now this is a heart that is strong and courageous. We have not often talked about it, but this is something that is essential for a real "follower" of Jesus Christ. We must be strong and courageous.

In a passage of Scripture that is familiar we find some repeated themes and some easy to find insights to help us develop this courageous heart. These insights are so easy to find that we often miss them...

Week 9 - 05/28/06 - Courage is the Call

We continue the topic we discussed last week in our series. On three different occassion we see God make a promise to Joshua as he led the people. With each promise God also instructs Joshua to be "strong and courageous."

When is the last time in a course on discipleship that you heard that a essential element of being a follower is that you be strong and courageous? Well, this is the study where you not only hear it, but you hear it explained, you see the Biblical line of instruction that helps us to understand that in order to live the life we have always longed for we must be strong and courageous.

If you are a coward, be prepared, what you will hear and learn is something that can be revolutionary to your journey of faith, but if you decide to take this seriously...you will not remain a coward at all...but instead be a follower with courage and a warrior's heart.

Week 10 - 6/04/06 - Giving YOU Away

In this session we continue our "how-to" emphasis as we discuss how to give you away! A repeated foundation teaching in this ministry at CCC is on the "trusteeship of life." This study incorporates many of those ideas, but in this session they are unpacked with more depth, punch, and perhaps more power than they have ever been before.

Week 11 - 6/11/06 - Choose Wisely

In this session we put some finishing thoughts on How to Give Yourself Away and then move into the next "how-to" make it happen in your life. That next step is Choosing Wisely. It sounds easy and almost too simple, but in this session you will begin to discover that it is not easy, but it can happen...and YOU, yes YOU really can live the life you have always longed for!

Week 12 - 6/18/06 - Connect the Dots

This session begins with a review that asks a very big question.

As you listen take the time to answer for yourself the question that Jeff Dixon asks about how much you are willing to give to have the life you have always longed for....

This session continues to discuss what it means to Choose Wisely. We also begin to explore what it means when the Bible says The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.

As the session screeches to a halt we introduce the next "how to" which is "Live to Serve". This is something we will explore some more in our next session.

Week 13 - 6/25/06 - Last But Not Least-Unleash your attitude

This is the last session of the 4 week series that lasted 13! But you also hear the last of the "how-to" sessions as we discuss unleashing your attitudes.

In this study we review some of the bigger concepts once again and make an astonishing discovery. We don't really have an attitude problem in our lives...now for some that is great news...but wait, we also discover why our attitude problem is something different.
